  Dr. Linda Ibrahim is currently an Independent Standards and Process Improvement Consultant.  Linda is International Project Leader Enterprise SPICE (ISO/IEC 33071), Founding Member SPICE Academy, and Co-Chair Enterprise SPICE Advisory Board.  She previously worked for 18 years at the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) serving as Chief Engineer for Process Improvement where she led development of the FAA integrated Capability Maturity Model, its extensions, and its appraisal methods.    She served as member of CMMI Steering Group, Senior member of the technical staff at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and in numerous academic, research, management, consulting and practitioner software engineering and process improvement positions in US, Europe and the Middle East.

Linda has received several awards including: US Department of Transportation: Meritorious Achievement Award for innovation in integrating capability maturity models; US Chief Information Officers Council: for Exemplary work on behalf of Best Practices Committee; many FAA Excellence and Special Achievement Awards for process improvement; SEI Customer Satisfaction Award; INCOSE Best Paper in Measurement Category.  Linda is included in various listings including Who’s Who in America and The World Who’s Who of Women.

Linda regularly addresses international, national, and local conferences/ events to further the cause of process improvement including: keynotes at major events in Australia, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and US; presentations at major events in the US, UK, France, Luxembourg, and Canada; community addresses at several SPINS, INCOSE local chapter, and others. Linda has published 180 articles, papers, presentations, reports.

Linda holds a BA in Mathematics from Duke University, MS in Information Science, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Hawaii.
